Price of Stamps Jumps by 3 Cents
A book of 20 stamps increased by 60 cents in order to cover the losses the U.S. Postal Service incurred during the "Great Recession."

I've been the editor of Joliet Patch since its launch in May 2012, and prior to that I helped launch Plainfield Patch in August 2010.
As a journalist with 20-plus years' experience, I love that Patch is a grassroots approach to connecting people to the community in which they live. We provide a platform to get the news of the day just on your town -- Joliet -- as well as a community resource that allows you to offer your opinion, follow topics that interest you and interact with other Patch readers.
