15 Cast Members Of Hit Show 'The Waltons' Return To Virginia For Reunion
Former cast members of the hit show will return to Virginia for a reunion weekend to celebrate the 45th anniversary.

SCHUYLER, VA — Fifteen former cast members of the popular TV show "The Waltons" will return to Virginia for a reunion weekend to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the show, and to honor the one-year anniversary of the death of the show's creator, Earl Hamner Jr., WTOP reports.
The reunion — featuring meet and greets, photo-ops, autograph sessions and a church service to honor Hamner — will take place March 24-26 at the Walton's Mountain Museum at 6484 Rockfish River Rd. in Schuyler.
"The Waltons" first aired on CBS in 1971 and focused on a family in a rural Virginia community during the Great Depression and WWII. The show starred Richard Thomas, Ralph Waite, Michael Learned, Ellen Corby, Judy Norton and more.

Earl Hamner Jr. created the hit TV show based on his novel Spencer's Mountain, inspired by his own childhood. Hamner died in March 2016 at 9.
Attendees can purchase a $10 general admission ticket for the event at the Earl Hamner Story Teller website. If interested, atteendees can also purchase a variety of additional add-ons, including: cast photos, cast autographs, an individual cast selfie, an autograph/selfie combo, a ticket to Waltons Mountain Concert at Godsey's Hall and more.
