Armed Robbery in Dale City: Police

DALE CITY, VA - Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Shell service station located at 2990 Dale Boulevard.

The incident occurred around 9:50 a.m. According to police, a suspect entered the store brandishing a handgun and demanded money. The suspect then left the area in a blue Nissan Versa and should be considered "armed and dangerous," police said.

Police warn residents to expect extra police presence in the area.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 50 years of age, 5-feet-8 inches tall, 200 pounds with a medium build.
He was last seen wearing a black mask, black and white stripped hoodie sweatshirt and black pants.
