“Boozie Batik” Class Offered by Center for the Arts of Greater Manassas/Prince Wm County
Fabric Art & Fine Wine ~ Class for ages 21 & up in Historic Manassas! Sundays March 19 & 26 (2 – 5pm) and Friday March 31 (6:30 - 8:30pm)
Make a beautiful work of art on fabric while enjoying fine wine. Don’t miss this truly unique opportunity -- all skill levels welcome, no prior art experience needed! Make an original hand-painted textile wall hanging or silk scarf while savoring the delicious award-winning wines of Morais Vineyards & Winery. Learn an alternative, exciting way to create batik-style art. We’ll skip the use of melted wax in favor of a safe technique so simple you can enjoy delicious wine while creating your own masterpiece! This mini-class celebration will begin with two Sunday afternoons: Wine and creativity in the Center for the Arts studio. Then finish with a Friday afternoon wine tasting and art reveal at Morais Vineyards’ gorgeous new tasting room AROMA in Old Town Manassas.

Morais Vineyards & Winery is a beautiful estate winery & event venue 30 minutes from Manassas in Bealeton, Virginia. All wines are crafted on site, and several feature the ancient traditions of the Morais family’s Portuguese winemaking heritage. Morais Vineyards wines have earned a multitude of awards, including 2 platinum medals at the 2016 Virginia Wine Classic.
