Dale City in Top 50 'Best Places to Live'

Money Magazine ranks Dale City No. 46 for new museum and Fourth of July parade.

Dale City was No. 46 on the list of 100 "Best Places to Live" and was the only area in Prince William County to make the list.  

The reasoning?

"The Americans in Wartime Museum, a $110 million project, is under construction. Its opening will bring additional jobs to the city, whose residents mostly commute to Washington, D.C.," reads the ranking, 

But, it does cite the traffic woes most Dale City and Woodbridge area commuters have to endure.

"The trip is a bit lengthy, but the Virginia Railway Express trains that run through Dale City do their part to ease congestion."

Dale City was also ranked No. 20 by the magazine for most affordable housing. 

In 2011, was ranked No. 56 on the list. 

Coming in at No. 1 was Carmel, IN. 

to live (No. 7) while nearby Arlington took No. 45 on the list. Centreville (No. 17) and Ashburn (No. 30) were also on the list.
