Driver Dodges Gunfire on Dale City Street
Unidentified suspect is at large, say Prince William County police.

Prince William County police are searching for an unidentified suspect who shot out the rear windows of a moving vehicle Monday night in a Dale City neighborhood.
At 9:26 p.m. Monday, police responded to the incident in the area of Darbydale Avenue and Dixon Court, according to a police report. The victim, a 36-year-old Woodbridge man, told police that he was leaving a local business when an unknown vehicle, described as a black Honda Accord, crossed into the opposite lane and pulled alongside his vehicle.
At that point, an occupant in the Honda displayed a handgun and fired at the victim’s vehicle, striking and shattering both rear windows. The suspect vehicle then sped away. No injuries were reported, police said.

The victim described the occupants in the suspect vehicle as four black males between 20 and 30 years of age, according to the police report.
