Coming from a galaxy far, far away, Boy Scout Troop 501 will be holding its fourth annual Star Wars Days Comic Con and Family Festival on December 1st and 2nd at Freedom High School in Woodbridge, VA
Star Wars Days is a one of kind place for Star Wars, Sci-Fi, fantasy, Pop culture, STEM, comics and anime. The event draws dozens of vendors who sell all sorts of merchandise just in time for the holidays. You’ll be able to shop toys and collectibles, unique food items, hand crafted leatherworks and jewelry, custom glassware and specials from local businesses. Our Artists Alley is full of incredible artwork or have an artist do some custom work just for you.

There are children’s activities around every turn including games, crafts, a Jedi Training Academy and costume contests. We haven’t forgotten our big kids either. Put out a bounty on your friends and have our bounty hunters take them away, enjoy panels and discussions, and be prepared for our costume contests for cash and prizes both days.
Be sure to bring your camera as photo opportunities are around every corner with our giant backdrops and members of the 501st Legion show of their movie accurate costumes. (If you are under 18, you could join the 501st junior legion: The Galactic Academy.)

It wouldn’t be a proper scouting event if we didn’t have activities for our fellow scout members. We’ll be running different Cub Scout elective activities for each rank throughout each day and we’ll be offering several merit badges. Merit badges must be registered for online as space is limited, but Cub Scout activities are open. Just show up at the scheduled time.
Before you go, don’t forget to stop at Troop 501’s table and purchase a 2018 show patch or t-shirt. (Order online to guarantee that you get yours before they run out!)
