Police: Dale City Man Struck Woman With His Vehicle
He was also driving without a license, say Prince William County police.

A Dale City man is behind bars after he allegedly struck a Woodbridge woman with his car Thursday night in a shopping center parking lot.
Julio Armando Larin-Orellana, 21, of 13101 Haddock Road, has been charged with attempted malicious wounding and having no operator’s license, according to the Prince William County police. He’s being held without bond in the Prince William-Manassas regional jail, and his next date in court is July 30.

Police officers responded at 8:24 p.m. Thursday to the 4200 block of Old Bridge Road to investigate a hit-and-run accident, according to a police report. The victim, a 25-year-old Woodbridge woman, told police that a minor collision occurred in a parking lot when her vehicle and another were backing out of a parking space at the same time.
When the woman walked over to the other vehicle to exchange information with the driver, he accelerated forward and struck her. The suspect immediately fled the area.

The victim sustained minor injuries, but she got the vehicle’s license plate number and gave it to the police. Officers located the driver, identified as Larin-Orellana, at his residence on Haddock Road, where he was arrested without incident. Larin-Orellana was also found to have driven the vehicle without a license.
