Police: Wandering 3-Year-Old Tried to Cross Dale Boulevard

A woman is accused of child neglect after a 3-year-old boy was found wandering, after he had attempted to cross Dale Boulevard, according to Prince William County Police.

Kiara Leshaun White, 24, of 14472 Fillerate St in Woodbridge is charged with felony child neglect.

At 3:41 p.m. Friday, police responded to the area of Dale Boulevard and Forestdale Avenue.

The caller told police the small child had attempted to cross Dale Boulevard. The boy was not injured.

Officers determined the boy lived at a home in the 14400 block of Fillerate St. They found the front door of the home open. White, a family member of the boy, was allegedly asleep in a bedroom.
