Runners (and walkers) can now register for the Lake Ridge RidgeRunners Turkey Trot, which takes place this year on Nov. 17.
The event includes a 5K walk at 8:30 a.m. and a 10K run at 9 a.m. DJ Jeremy Whitham will provide music. Racers can take pictures with the Turkey mascot, get a finisher's ribbon, and enter a raffle. Early and regular registrants can get a printed long-sleeve cotton shirt.
The top three male and female finishers will each receive a trophy, and winners in various age groups will also get medals.
