No one predicted how close the U.S. Senate race would be between incumbent Democrat Sen. Mark Warner and Republican Ed Gillespie. That and Independent/Republican John Vihstadt winning a seat on the Arlington County Board were two of the night’s big surprises Tuesday. Here’s a look at Election Day via photos on Twitter.
