• Fairfax County Park Authority rec centers may have to wait in line for upgrades (ffxnow.com) — Fairfax County is weighing which aging rec centers to renovate with a proposed 2026 park bond, and Dranesville District’s representative on the Park Authority Board is questioning how best to handle closures during construction. The plan currently prioritizes major work at Audrey Moore Rec Center and more modest upgrades at either Providence or Franconia, with public input expected this spring before the bond goes to voters.
