• Two charged in Lynchburg hit-and-run on Wards Rd. (wdbj7.com) — A Hurt resident has been charged alongside a North Carolina man after a late-November hit-and-run on Wards Road in Lynchburg that sent one person to the hospital. Lynchburg Police say the pair left the scene after a pedestrian was struck and are now asking anyone with video or eyewitness information to contact investigators or submit anonymous tips online.
