22-Year-Old Man Stabbed In Manassas: Police

Authorities are still looking for the person responsible for stabbing a 22-year-old man on Tuesday night in Manassas.

MANASSAS, VA ? A stabbing occurred on Carlton Drive in Manassas on Tuesday night, the Manassas City Police Department said. Authorities are still looking for the person responsible for the stabbing.

Police officers identified the victim as a 22-year-old man. He was hospitalized, though authorities said his injuries were not life-threatening.

The police department described the suspect as a light-skinned skinny Hispanic male with short black hair. He was wearing a gray hoodie on Tuesday night.

The stabbing occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Authorities said the victim was walking with a female friend when the suspect stabbed. The police department did not provide any additional information on what could have led to the stabbing.

After the stabbing, the suspect ran away from Carlton Drive, authorities said.
