Around 8:45 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded to the Bayvue apartment complex to investigate a shots fired report. Through an investigation, authorities determined that "a gray-colored sedan was traveling on East Longview Dr. when an occupant of the vehicle began shooting towards
the parking area," according to the police report.
The vehicle then fled the area, and a man was seen fleeing the area on foot, police said. An unoccupied vehicle was struck by bullets, but no other property damage was reported.
The weekend's final shooting occurred on Sunday night at the 90 Degrees Sports Bar in Manassas. Two patrons were escorted out of the business when an argument broke out in the parking lot, police said.
As the suspects left the area in a black Dodge Ram, "the suspect in the passenger seat brandished a firearm and began shooting towards the business," according to the police report. The bar's security guard returned fire with his own gun, police said.
No injuries or property damage was reported in the shooting.
The suspect was described as a white man who is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 230 pounds. He had short black hair and tattoos on his left hand.
