$900 in Car Parts Reportedly Stolen from Northern Va. Auto Auction

A suspect reportedly stole catalytic converters off of 15 cars parked at Northern Virginia Auto Auction earlier this week.

Manassas City Police are searching for a suspect who reportedly stole $900 worth of car parts from cars at Northern Virginia Auto Auction in Manassas.

An employee at Northern Virginia Auto Action told police Oct. 22 that a suspect gained entry through the property’s back fence and stole catalytic converters off of 15 cars parked on the lot. Each part was valued at approximately $60, according to Manassas City Police.

The incident reportedly occurred some time between 6 p.m. on Oct. 20 and 7 a.m. Oct. 21.
