Armed Robbery Victim Intended To Buy Car Parts: Police
A man was robbed at gunpoint after he intended to purchase car parts from a stranger, the Prince William County Police Department said.

MANASSAS, VA — A man was robbed at gunpoint near the intersection of Tayloe Drive and Gordon Drive in Manassas on Tuesday morning, according to a report from the Prince William County Police Department. The victim had planned to purchase car parts before he was robbed.
Officers responded to the area around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, police said. The victim told police that a stranger contacted him and arranged to sell the victim "a large amount of vehicle parts," the police department wrote in an incident report.
Shortly after he arrived at the area, the victim said a white SUV parked next to him. The driver of the SUV exited his vehicle, took out a gun, and approached the victim, according to authorities. The suspect then demanded money from the victim.

After the stealing money from the victim, the suspect fled the area in the SUV. The victim immediately called police and reported that an undisclosed amount of money was missing, police said. The victim did not report any injuries.
Authorities described the suspect as a white man in his 30s. He is approximately six feet tall, and weighs about 180 pounds.

The suspect was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and a black mask with skulls on it, police said.
