Blessings from Curses: Imagine's Swear Jar Campaign
How you can help a local family in need this holiday season

The holidays are a time to share. We share memories, laughter, time and gifts with the people we love. But, what if you had nothing to share this holiday season? What if you had to sell your house to make ends meet? What if you had to had to tell your kids that Santa can’t bring them the toys on their wish list?
This scenario happens to families all over the country, and even in our own backyard. While we can’t bring holiday cheer to everyone in need, we can make this season brighter for one local family.
Imagine's Swear Jar Campaign donates money to a local family or person in need of a little extra help. While we love supporting non-profits, this is our way of giving on a more personal level. The family receiving the funds this year wishes to remain anonymous, but we can tell you a bit of their story and why it moved us:

When a husband and father of two decided to turn his lifelong passion into a business, his wife supported his dream. The two worked side by side, giving it their all. While the company enjoyed popularity and even some early expansion, the revenue just didn't outpace the costs. No matter where they tried to cut back, they too often found themselves staring at an empty bank account.
Long hours and financial stress took its toll on the husband. Physical pain and depression made it difficult to work, though he continued to pour his heart into it for as long as he could.
Eventually, the couple made the difficult decision to close the business and sell their home--the first that they had ever owned. As they work to rebuild their lives, we invite you to join us in making the transition a little easier.

From now until December 21st, Imagine invites you to curse a little extra to help bring some holiday cheer to a very deserving family. Stop by the office to throw some coins into the swear jar, or virtually 'curse for a cause' through our GoFundMe page.
We can’t do this without your help. Please consider donating and sharing a little happiness with a family in need this holiday season.
