A 28-year-old woman from Bristow was arrested on Tuesday after she was accused of stabbing a man multiple times.

BRISTOW, VA ? A 28-year-old woman from Bristow was arrested on Tuesday night after she was accused of stabbing a man multiple times, according to police.
Authorities identified the victim as a 44-year-old man. Police said his injuries were not life-threatening and he drove himself to the hospital.
The police department identified the suspect as Edith Yesenia Pivaral Munoz. She is charged with one count of malicious wounding. Her court date is pending and she is being held without bond.

If convicted, Pivaral Munoz could face up to life in prison, based on Virginia's sentencing guidelines.
The stabbing occurred on Tuesday evening at a house in the 9300 block of Devlins Grove Place in Bristow, police said. Investigators said the victim and Pivaral Munoz had an argument that escalated.

During the argument, Pivaral Munoz stabbed the victim multiple times, according to the police report. The victim then drove himself to the hospital.
Police officers reached the home around 11:45 p.m. After their investigation, they found Pivaral Munoz at the home and arrested her.
