CTE Students From Manassas School Bound For Nationals

MANASSAS, VA—A group of CTE (career and technical education) students from Osbourn High School at 9005 Tudor Lane will compete at the national SkillsUSA championship June 24-28 in Louisville, according to Manassas City Public Schools.

In April, Osbourn competed at the 55th SkillsUSA Virginia State Championships in Virginia Beach and won state titles in Crime Scene Investigation and Esthetics for the second consecutive year.

Karla Juarez-Orozco won a gold medal in Esthetics, and Angelica FariasBarriga, Leonela Morales-Morales and Axell Portillo won gold medals in Crime Scene Investigation, earning the state titles. Cristian Hernandez, who won gold in Criminal Justice, will also join the winner's group headed to the national competition.
