Electrical Fire At Manassas House Displaces 1: Fire Department
A house in Manassas sustained extensive damage after its attic caught fire as a result of an electrical issue, the fire department said.

MANASSAS, VA ? A house fire in Manassas displaced one person Tuesday morning, but no injuries were reported, fire officials said.
The fire was caused by an electrical issue in the house's attic, the fire department said. Prince William County declared that the home was unsafe to occupy as the structure sustained extensive damage, authorities said.
The fire broke out around 4:40 a.m. Tuesday. Neighbors in the 9500 block of Bonair Drive alerted a resident about the fire in the home, officials said.

When firefighters arrived on the scene, they saw flames emerging through the house's roof.
The fire department said that one person was displaced by the blaze, who received assistance from the American Red Cross. The person was not identified.
