John Rudyard Gray Jr., 78

John Rudyard Gray, Jr., age 78, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015 in Manassas, VA.

He was born on January 19, 1937 in Lynchburg, VA to the late John Rudyard Gray, Sr. and Mary Kay (Link) Gray. Mr. Gray retired from the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant Commander after serving his country for 20 years. He loved boating on the Chesapeake and was very active in his community.

Survivors include four children: Ron Gray of Manassas, VA, Paul Gray and wife Mary Ellen of Camden, DE, Linda Gray of Manassas, VA and Jeanne Farrish of Bealeton, VA; two brothers: Jeff Gray and wife Sandy of Grand Rapids, MI and Jay Gray and wife Maggie of Monrovia, CA; and five grandchildren: Amanda Gray, Rob Gray, Jillian Farrish, Maxwell Gray and Zachary Gray.

Services will be held at a later date.
