Joyce Ann Briscoe, 67

JOYCE ANN BRISCOE, age 67 of Manassas, Virginia passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 at her residence.

Joyce was born May 13, 1947 in Fauquier County, daughter of the late James E. and Stella V. (Rickard) Carter. Her career spanned more than 30 years with Prince William County Schools Transportation Department and included positions as bus driver, maintenance clerk, payroll clerk and personnel technician. Her real joy was extensively decorating her home for the various Seasons and Holidays.

Survivors include her loving husband William H. Briscoe and daughter, Sherry Leonard-Hancock and husband Ed Hancock.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, January 2, 2015 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas where services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 3, 2015 with Rev. Jack Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at Carter Cemetery at Ada, near Marshall, Virginia.
