Hometown: Manassas
Hero's job: Law enforcement
If other, job: Probation and Parole
Relationship to nominee: He is my father
Reason for recognition: My father has worked 30-plus years as a first responder in the Northern Virginia area and is currently with Manassas Probation and Parole. He has always worked a job that was convenient in raising me and made sure I always came first.
One thing to know: He is a dedicated father and has always put me and the community first. I've watched the stress of the job cause him health conditions, but he always worked in a capacity that would allow him to be available as a father. He continues to give of himself.
Thank you for all you do, Keith Brown!
