The Prince William Health District recorded violations at several facilities around Manassas and Gainesville during recent inspections.
MANASSAS, VA ? Several facilities in the Manassas area recorded violations during recent health department inspections between May 17 and May 23.
Most COVID-19 restrictions have relaxed around the state, and health inspectors are returning to conduct many restaurant and other health inspections in person. However, some visits, such as those for training purposes, can be conducted virtually.

- There were food items in the reach in cooler that had dates that were held in cold holding over 7 days from preparation, foods include fresh salsa, chicken, pork, yuca, steak.
- The establishment allows customers to order eggs undercooked, but does not have a consumer advisory giving warning of potential foodborne illness.
- There was a visible infestation of fruit flies around the kitchen.
- There were was a huge container of masa flour in a non-food grade container.
- Employees was observed working with food without a proper hair restraint on.
