Manassas To Hold Fireworks Show To Celebrate End of Summer
The city of Manassas is putting on a fireworks show on Saturday, Sept. 5 to celebrate the end of summer.
MANASSAS, VA — The City of Manassas is putting on a brief fireworks show on Saturday, Sept. 5 to celebrate the end of summer. The fireworks show will start at 8 p.m., the city said.
The 9-minute fireworks show will launch from Historic Downtown more than 500 feet into the air and should be visible from most areas in the city. Residents can watch from their homes.
City restaurants and shops also will be open with plenty of outdoor seating. The city is asking resident to wear face coverings when visiting restaurants and while watching the fireworks.

Manassas canceled its annual Celebrate America event on the Fourth of July, which traditionally includes fireworks, due to the coronavirus crisis. Manassas Park also canceled its annual July 4 fireworks celebration due to the coronavirus.
