
As of Monday, Winter Storm Jonas has brought over two feet of snow to a majority of towns across Virginia costing the Metro DC Area a least $250 million dollars.
As everyone continues to dig themselves out, the U.S. Postal Service has started collecting, delivering and sorting mail throughout the Northern Virginia area. Although, the OPM has announced a 3 hours delayed arrival for federal employees on Wednesday with optional unscheduled leave or unscheduled telework.
As local jurisdictions started to plow residential streets, we asked Patch readers how their residental streets are looking. Here’s what you said:

- “They used a front end loader and did great on half the street, but left our side untouched. We thought they were coming back to finish, but it’s been a little while so I don’t think so.“
- “Still no plow. Behind Manassas shopping center.”
- “We have not seen a plow yet. Would be nice if the City of Manassas sent an update as to when other streets will be done.”
- “Brandy Court Development in Manassas Park has not seen a snowplow since late Friday night. The neighbors have been doing all the shoveling clearing away for them to get out.”
- “We have not seen a snowplow at all.”
