Manassas Woman Wins $1M in March's Powerball Drawing
A Manassas woman is $1 million richer after she matched the first five numbers in March 10's Powerball drawing.

MANASSAS, VA — A woman from Manassas won $1M in March 10's Powerball drawing. She purchased the winning ticket from the Giant Food at 10100 Dumfries Road in Manassas.
The woman, Rosalind Abdool, considered herself to be a calm and unexcitable person, according to the Virginia Lottery. However, her demeanor was tested when she realized she had won the lottery.
"I was really, really surprised,” Abdool said when she claimed her oversized check from the Virginia Lottery.

Abdool's ticket matched the first five numbers in March 10's Powerball drawing. She used the Powerball's "Easy Pick" function, which allowed a computer to randomly select the numbers on her ticket.
