Missing 14-Year-Old From Manassas Park Was Last Seen On June 28: Cops

The Manassas Park Police Department is asking for the public's help finding a 14-year-old girl who has been missing since June 28.

Jazzelyn Carter's family last saw her when she left for summer school on June 28. She never returned home, police said. Her family reported her as missing on July 1, and the police department posted about her on social media on Tuesday.

MANASSAS PARK, VA ? Police in Manassas Park are asking for the public's help finding a missing 14-year-old girl. Jazzelyn Carter's family last saw her on June 28, police said.

Carter left for summer school on June 28 and never returned home, the Manassas Park Police Department said on Facebook. Her family reported her as missing on July 1. On Tuesday, the police department posted an alert about Carter on Facebook, urging anyone with more information to contact authorities.

Carter is about 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 100 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

"Officers and Investigators have canvassed the City of Manassas Park and made contact with residents of various locations Jazzelyn is known to frequent," the police department wrote on Facebook.
