Nokesville Man Charged In Stabbing At Manassas Days Inn: Police
During a fight, the suspect, Christopher Andrew Ankers, 43, of Nokesville reportedly stabbed the victim with a knife, police said.

MANASSAS, VA — The Prince William County Police Department charged a Nokesville man with malicious wounding Friday in connection with a stabbing at a Days Inn in Manassas.
At around 9:30 a.m. Friday, police officers went to the Days Inn at 7429 New Market Ct. in Manassas to investigate a reported assault.
The victim, a 41-year-old man told police that he and an acquaintance were arguing when it escalated into a physical fight.

During the fight, the suspect, Christopher Andrew Ankers, 43, of Nokesville reportedly stabbed the victim with a knife, according to the police. Ankers then left the room and spoke to hotel staff who called the police.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries from which he is expected to survive.

Ankers was found later Friday by the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Department and taken into custody. He was then arrested and charged with malicious wounding and is being held in jail without bond. A court date for Ankers is pending, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
