Patch Honors Prince William Graduates: Congrats Class Of 2020
We hope this will give the Prince William County community a way to share their pride in our Class of 2020 high school graduates.
PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — Virginia Patch wants to provide a way to share the achievements of our graduates at high schools across Prince William County, even if it's in a small way.
With in-person instruction canceled for the rest of the 2019-2020 school year in Virginia due to the coronavirus, high school seniors are missing out on the last moments of what should be a happy, celebratory time. Many proms and graduations have been postponed, and we know many high school seniors are feeling sadness about missing these milestone high school events.
We hope that this will give the community a way to share their pride in our Class of 2020 high school graduates. You can find the form here if you'd like to add your graduate. Patch will be updating this form until May 31.

Message from the family: And now go and make interesting mistakes, make amazing mistakes, make glorious and fantastic mistakes. So long as your desire to explore is greater than your desire to not screw up, you're on the right track. A life oriented toward discovery is infinitely more rewarding than a life oriented toward not blowing it. As you approach the world with your knowledge and experience, and as you choose opportunities, always remember to lean toward what scares you and if at first you feel uncomfortable, then you probably made the right choice. Where there is comfort, there is no growth. And don’t worry if we do not approve of your choices. In our benign self-absorption, I believe we have given you a gift; a particular form of independence, for you do not owe the previous generation anything. In life, sweetie, there is no safety net except for self-belief. It will NEVER let you down. You make us so very proud. You are already wise. You know things that many don’t know until later in life. You value family, you ask hard questions, you don’t rush to conclusions, you embody grace, and you choose to see past others flaws even when it comes at your expense. You are your ancestor’s wildest dreams! Daddy says, “Crushed it lil sip!”
