Police: Metal Rod Used in Attack, Three Arrested

Two adults and one juvenile were charged with burglary and malicious wounding, PWCPD reports.

A gathering in Manassas escalated and lead to three arrests, according to the Prince William County Police.

Officers responded to the 8100 block Peakwood Court at 1:38 a.m. Tuesday for a burglary. One of the accused, Brianna O’Toole 18, and another female had been at the apartment for a gathering earlier. The resident asked the two to leave for causing problems, PWCPD reports.

O’Toole and the female acquaintance returned to the apartment a few hours later with several males, according to police. The group allegedly forced their way into the apartment and assaulted two of the occupants with a blunt metal rod, PWCPD reports. The victims were identified as a 17-year-old male juvenile of Manassas Park and a 21-year-old female of Manassas.
