Road Closure Expected In Bristow For Stormwater Pipe Replacement

In Bristow, Wellington Road will be closed between Rollins Ford Road and Piney Branch Lane this weekend, VDOT said.

BRISTOW, VA — The Virginia Department of Transportation alerted drivers Tuesday that Wellington Road (Route 674) will be closed between Rollins Ford Road and Piney Branch Lane in Bristow from Friday night through Sunday night to allow workers to replace a stormwater pipe.

Traffic will be detoured from Wellington Road to Linton Hall Road (Route 619) to Devlin Road (Route 621) and back to Wellington Road. The pipe replacement work be conducted as long as the weather permits, VDOT said.

The road will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday through 8 p.m. Sunday.
