Seven Displaced in Singe-Family Home Fire

Damage from Wednesday's blaze is estimated at $100,000.

Six adults and one child were displaced Wednesday from a single-family home in the 10100 block of Moore Drive in Manassas after an early morning fire.

Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue said in a press release units were dispatched around 5 a.m.

"Residents became aware of the fire when a family member smelled smoke, investigated further and discovered the fire," a release from the department said. The department said remaining family members were alerted and quickly evacuated the home.
