Skate N Fun Zone Burglarized In Manassas: Police
One man is in custody and charged with breaking into the Skate N Fun Zone on Sudley Road in Manassas, the Prince William County police said.

MANASSAS, VA — One man is in custody after the Skate N Fun Zone on Sudley Road in Manassas was burglarized on Sunday morning, according to the Prince William County Police Department. Authorities arrested one man in connection with the burglary, who they identified as Erick Hernandez Rodriguez.
Officers responded to the skating rink just before 6 a.m. on Sunday, June 13, according to a report released by the police department. The business's owner told officers that he was notified of an alarm activation at the facility.
Through surveillance footage, the owner reported that he saw an unknown man, later identified as Rodriguez, inside the business. When the accused attempted to leave the facility, he was confronted by police officers, authorities said. After the confrontation, the suspect "immediately retreated into the business," the police department claimed in a report.

Authorities located the suspect after a short search of the business, according to the report. He was taken into custody without further incident.
During an investigation, the officers determined that the accused entered the business by forcing his way through a back door.

Rodriguez is charged with one count of burglary. He is being held without bond, the police department said. His court date is scheduled for Aug. 3, 2021.
