MANASSAS, VA – A food service worker who was preparing free meals at Stonewall Middle School has tested positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus, Prince William County Public School officials announced in an email to parents Monday night.

The employee was last at the food distribution site on April 17, officials said, and did not interact with families who were picking up meals. The employee, as well as all other employees and volunteers who were working at the site, are now at home self-isolating.

The preparation site has been disinfected, officials said.
