Update: Dismissal Begins At Unity Reed High School After Bomb Threat
A police-directed dismissal of students has begun at Unity Reed High School after a bomb threat was reported on Thursday afternoon.

MANASSAS, VA ? Police officers helped dismiss students at Unity Reed High School in Manassas on Thuraday authorities said. Earlier in the day, the Prince William County Police Department received a report that said a person was going to the school with a bomb.
Authorities searched Unity Reed High School, but they did not locate any explosive devices. Other schools in the area were also notified of the bomb threat.

Police officers were at the high school on Thursday afternoon to conduct their investigation and help dismiss students.
"Expect heavy police presence in the area as the investigation continues," the police department wrote on social media on Thursday afternoon. "Actions are precautionary at this time."
