UPDATED: Two Charged with Murder, Man Identified in Suspicious Death Case

A man was found dead in a vacant parking lot Tuesday morning.

Manassas City Police said two individuals have been arrested and charged with murder after Antonio Ricardo Bailey, 44, of the 12000 block of Smithfield Road, was found dead. 

Bailey was discovered deceased in a parking lot in the 9000 block of Church Street Tuesday morning. 

Sgt. Lowell Nevill with the Manassas City Police said an investigation is ongoing and more information is expected to be released in the case. Details about two charged were not immediately available, Nevill said.

An unidentified African-American man was found dead in a vacant parking lot Tuesday morning by Manassas City Police.

Adrienne E. Helms, a crime prevention specialist with the Manassas City Police Department, said in an email police responded shortly after 7:30 a.m. Tuesday to the 9000 block of Church Street, where officials found the body.

"The cause and nature of death are under investigation," Helms wrote. "Police have no further information at this time."
