Woman Flees Sexual Assault In Manassas: Police
A Manassas man is accused, behind bars after the Tuesday incident, say Prince William police.

MANASSAS, VA — A Manassas man is behind bars after being accused of sexually assaulting a 42-year-old woman on Tuesday. The woman got away and contacted the Prince William County police, according to a report.
Fredy Santos Arredondo Cantes, 49, is being held without bond on a charge of sexual battery at the Prince William-Manassas regional jail, the police said.
At about 5 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the repoort of an assault in the 7500 block of Purdue Court. The victim told police that Arredondo Cantes, an acquaintance, forced her against a wall and then inappropriately touched her. She was able to push him away and contact police.

Arredondo Cantes is scheduled to appear in court on April 5.
