Woman Stole Ambulance From Manassas Hospital: Police
A woman was arrested after stealing an ambulance on Wednesday night from the UVA Health Prince William Medical Center, authorities said.
MANASSAS, VA ? A woman stole an ambulance from the UVA Prince William Medical Center on Wednesday night, according to the Manassas City Police Department.
Nobody was in the ambulance when it was stolen. Authorities recovered the vehicle later.
Authorities identified the woman as 33-year-old Feben Nigatu of Manassas. She is charged with one count of grand larceny auto. She is being held without bond, the police department said.

If convicted, Nigatu could face up to 20 years in prison, based on Virginia's sentencing guidelines.
Police officers learned of the stolen ambulance around 9 p.m. on Wednesday. Hospital officials told investigators that someone had stolen a medical transport company's ambulance.

Authorities used the on-board GPS system to track the ambulance to the Coverstone neighborhood. Members of the Prince William County Police Department arrested Nigatu and returned the ambulance.
