• Two injured following high-speed chase in Augusta County, suspect charged (newsleader.com) — A high-speed chase in Augusta County ended with a rollover crash that sent the suspect first to Augusta Health, then to UVA Health in Charlottesville, where University of Virginia police took him into custody. Authorities say the Staunton man was driving a stolen car, fled deputies at high speed through Fishersville, and now faces multiple felony and traffic charges while being held without bond.
