$2,000 Reward Offered In Woodbridge Assault Investigation: Police
U.S. Marshals and local police are offering a reward for information about a man who is accused of assaulting a woman in Woodbridge.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Authorities are offering a cash reward for anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest of Terrance Wright, a Woodbridge resident. Wright is charged with assaulting and threatening a woman who lived at the Bayvue apartment complex last month, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
During their investigation, authorities claimed Wright assaulted a victim, a 44-year-old woman, at the Bayvue apartments on May 26. The altercation began as an argument that escalated, police said.
The victim told police that Wright struck her with a glass bottle, grabbed her throat, and kicked her several times. The two people eventually separated, police said.

The victim reported the assault to police, and suffered "significant injures during the altercation," according to the police department.
Authorities also alleged that on May 28, Wright sent threatening messages to the victim. The messages including threats to kill the victim and her family, according to the police report.

During their investigation, detectives also learned of an attempted break-in that occurred on May 10. Police claimed that Wright damaged the victim's front door in an attempt to enter her home. No entry was made, and no items were reported missing, police said.
Now, the Prince William County Police Department, in partnership with the U.S. Marshals Service, is offering a $2,000 reward for any information that leads to Wright's arrest.
Wright is described as a 41-year-old Black male who has black hair, brown eyes, and tattoos on his neck and arms. Authorities said he is about five feet, eight inches tall and weighs approximately 220 pounds.

Wright's last listed residence is in the 4700 block of Headrick Lane in Woodbridge. He is charged with strangulation, malicious wounding, threats by electronic means, and attempted burglary.
