Rescue Me: Tonga Is 'A Big Old Heap Of Stunning Male Beauty'

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — Tonga is a 14-year-old cat who is available for adoption now at the Prince William County Animal Shelter. He is a unique lad who might not be a perfect fit for every family, but could be a great addition to the right home.

"How about this gorgeous fellow," the Prince William County Animal Shelter wrote on his PetFinder page. "Tonga is a big ol' heap of stunning male beauty, a little shy but affectionate."

The animal shelter noted that Tonga may not be a good fit in a home with other cats. "According to his previous owner, Tonga can be very selective with other cats, particularly males," the animal shelter said.

However, Tonga would be comfortable in a home with dogs or children.

The Prince William County Animal Shelter is now open for showings and adoptions, and most of its coronavirus-related restrictions have been lifted. Visitors are welcome to visit the shelter's dogs and cats as space permits. "Be advised there may be wait times for showings and adoptions as we operate on a first-come, first-served basis," the animal shelter said.
