Alliance for Absolute Justice (AAJ) is an initiative launched by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. It’s mission is to serve the nation with social justice so that there is harmony amongst all people. It emphasizes Islam’s teaching of protecting human rights. The goal is to advocate several human rights including Education Reform which ensures high-quality education and Women’s Rights advocating that women are equal in society but with their unique role.
Relevant to today’s situation where the U.S. is running out of poll workers for the upcoming elections, AAJ has partnered with “Power the Polls”, and hence, are encouraging people to volunteer in a collective effort to serve their nation. This is how the Alliance for Absolute Justice seeks to end voter suppression.
Some of the work done by AAJ in an effort to promote Islam’s true teachings and tolerance is through the work of multiple campaigns such as Muslims for Loyalty- to be loyal to ones’ nation, and Muslims for Life- to honor the victims of 9/11.
Islam’s teaching regarding absolute justice is stated in the Holy Qur’an: “O ye who believe! be steadfast in the cause of God, bearing witness in equity; and let not a people’s enmity incite you to act otherwise than with justice. Be always just, that is nearer to righteousness” (5:9).
