Animal Shelter Photo Contest In Prince William County: Details

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA—Here's a chance to re-purpose that adorable photo you once took of Fido or Tiger and share it with the world—or at least your own little part of it. For that matter, break out the camera or the smart phone and come up with a new photogenic masterpiece of your animal friend.

We're talking about the Prince William County Animal Shelter's "Summer Fun with Animal Friends" photo contest. Between May 22 and June 1, submit an original 8-by-10-inch framed photo to the shelter during its business hours of 11 a.m-5 p.m. Each entry from Prince William County residents must include (secured to the back) your name, address and telephone number.

The photos will be on display in the shelter at 14807 Bristow Road in Manassas from June 1-9. Ribbons will be presented for places 1-4, as well as a "staff favorite." Contestants may pick up the photos upon the event's completion.
