Armed Robber Flees on Bike After Stealing Cash

A man robbed two acquaintances in Dumfries last week, then fled the area on a bicycle, Prince William County Police said. 

A 17-year-old female and an 18-year-old female, both residents of Dumfries, reported at 9:08 p.m. July 10 that they were walking on a footpath near the 17100 block of Jefferson Davis Highway, when they were robbed. The robber was a known acquaintance, who showed a handgun and stole cash. He then fled on a bicycle. 

No one reported any injuries.
