Armed Robbery At Potomac Inn Stemmed From Marijuana Sale: Police
A man was robbed at gunpoint by unknown suspects while he tried to purchase marijuana from an acquaintance, the police department said.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man was robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of the Potomac Inn in Woodridge on Sunday, May 23, according to the Prince William County Police Department. Now, police are looking for anyone who can help identify the suspects.
Police said the robbery occurred on Sunday evening, though it wasn't reported until the following morning. The victim said he was in the parking lot of the Potomac Inn to purchase marijuana from an acquaintance, according to the police report.
Authorities said that the two men began to argue before the sale was complete. During the dispute, two unidentified men emerged from a nearby vehicle, approached the victim, and pulled out a gun, according to police.

One of the suspects demanded the victim's property and grabbed onto him, according to the police department. The victim was able to break free and fled the area on foot.
The victim initially contacted police after fleeing the area, but did not officially report the incident until Monday morning, police said. No injuries were reported.

The suspects were only described as Black males.
