Burglars Hit Five Businesses In One Night: Police

Burglars vandalized and stole from five businesses in Woodbridge on Monday night, according to a report from the police department.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Five different businesses in Woodbridge were burglarized and vandalized on Monday night, according to the Prince William County Police Department. Authorities said that suspects used a brick to shatter the front doors of each business.

At 1:47 a.m. on Tuesday, officers originally responded to the Kabul Halal Market on Golanksy Boulevard to investigate a burglary. When officers arrived on the scene, they saw damage to the front door, and determined that a brick was used to gain entry into the business.

A police K-9 was called to the scene and searched for suspects. The K-9 was unable to locate any suspects, police said.

As officers investigated the area, they found four additional businesses that were broken into in a similar fashion. Fair Price located on Smoketown Road, Brandz Outlet located on Worth Avenue, Honey Baked Ham located on Prince William Parkway, and Shine Nail Supply in Foulgers Square were all burglarized, according to authorities.

In a report, the police department said that the burglaries occurred between 10:57 p.m. on Monday and 1:43 a.m. on Tuesday. An undisclosed amount of money was stolen from the businesses.

Officers determined that after the burglary, the suspects fled the area in a light-colored 2008 Toyota Highlander.

The suspects are described as two men, between 16 and 20 years old. Both men are approximately six feet tall, and they have thin builds, according to police.

One suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket with white writing on the back, dark colored jeans, and blue and grey tennis shoes. The other suspect was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, light-colored jeans, and white shoes.
