Da'Shawn Hand Documentary to Get Hometown Screening Sept. 3
Award-winning Washington Post film looks at Hand's senior year at Woodbridge High School.

Top prospect Da’Shawn Hand had a remarkable year as he said goodbye to the Woodbridge Vikings and went through the college recruiting process. Now, The Washington Post has put its award-winning series of videos chronicling the journey into a full-length documentary, First and 17.
A screening of the film is planned from 6-8 p.m Sept. 3 in the Woodbridge High School auditorium, 3001 Old Bridge Road.
A conversation is also planned following the screening with Woodbridge High football coach Karibi Dede and Post video journalist Brad Horn.
