WOODBRIDGE, VA — A tow truck driver was arrested last week, July 18, after trying to repossess a vehicle with a woman, two kids and a dog inside and then running into the owner before punching him in the face, according to Prince William County Police. Mohaned Zyoud, 23, of the 2200 block of Madison Court in Woodbridge, was charged with attempted malicious wounding, assault and battery and misdemeanor hit and run.

Around 9 p.m., police responded to the 1500 block of Jefferson Davis Highway for a disorderly conduct incident and found that a driver for A&A Towing had gone to the area to repossess a vehicle seen parked at a nearby business. He hooked his truck to the vehicle, inside of which were the aforementioned occupants.

When the vehicle's owner, a 25-year-old man inside a nearby business, saw what was happening he ran outside and stood in front of the truck. That's when the truck struck him, after which he tried to open its driver's side door before getting punched in the face by the driver.
